The turn-off to Mazambala from the Trans Caprivi Highway (B8) is approximately 3 km east of the police checkpoint on the Kwando River or about 4 km west of Kongola.

The lodge parking area and Mazambala campsite are 2 km south of the tar road. From there, the lodge is accessible only by boat, fifteen minutes away. Campsite staff arrange for guest pickups.
